Ongoing Safety Support
Stop dealing with safety paperwork one job at a time.
We help subcontractors and small builders manage the day-to-day safety requirements across their jobs — from setting up systems and documents to keeping everything organised and up to date.
Think of us as your part-time safety advisor, working alongside your business, helping keep projects moving without the constant back-and-forth.
That includes:
setting up your full safety system (PMP, PRR, PEP, policies)
preparing and managing SWMS
handling risk assessments when things change on site
incident reporting and investigations
worker and subcontractor inductions
reviewing and fixing documents before submission
uploading and managing documents in builder systems
maintaining registers and keeping everything up to date
Some clients use us every week. Others bring us in when workloads increase or projects become more demanding.
Either way, we step in where needed so you’re not chasing paperwork, guessing requirements, or dealing with it after hours.
We’ll help you work out what level of support makes sense for your jobs.
How we support your jobs day to day
Some clients come to us for one specific thing. Most need support across different parts of the job.
That might be SWMS, risk assessments, fixing documents before submission, or helping sort out issues that come up on site.
Below is a breakdown of the main areas we support.
SWMS Preparation
Not many people realise a SWMS is a legal document — and when something goes wrong, it’s one of the first things regulators look at.
Most SWMS get knocked back because they’re too generic, missing key details, or don’t align with regulations, codes of practice, and what builders actually expect.
As part of our ongoing support, we prepare SWMS properly from the start — tailored to your work, aligned with requirements, and ready for submission.
We can also fix existing SWMS, update them for specific sites, and make sure everything is uploaded correctly so you’re not going back and forth.
Risk Assessments
Not every job needs a full SWMS, and even when it does, not everything can be planned perfectly from the start.
As work progresses, conditions change, new risks come up, and sometimes adjusting a full SWMS isn’t practical in the moment — that’s where risk assessments come in.
We prepare practical risk assessments that reflect the actual work being done, whether it’s a quick change, a one-off task, or something that needs a proper review before work continues.
That way, you’ve got clear documentation in place that supports the work and helps cover you if questions come up later.

Safety Management Plans
Running jobs without a clear safety system in place puts a lot of responsibility back on you — whether you’re managing projects, coordinating subcontractors, or running crews across multiple sites.
Without structure, it’s easy to lose control of safety, documentation, and compliance — and that’s where things start to go wrong.
We help set up and manage practical safety systems that support how your jobs actually run day to day.
That can include project management plans, risk registers, environmental plans, inductions, policies, and the documents, systems, and processes expected across construction sites and projects.
For some businesses, that means building the system properly from the start. For others, it’s reviewing and improving existing documents and processes so everything works together properly.
Incident Reports & ICAM Investigations
When something goes wrong on site, how it’s reported and investigated matters more than most people realise.
Regulators and insurers are no longer just looking at the report — they want to understand how the investigation was done, what led to the incident, and what has been put in place to prevent it from happening again.
Poorly written or rushed reports can create bigger problems later, especially when those questions start getting asked.
As part of our ongoing support, we help manage this process — putting together clear, structured reports that reflect what actually happened and meet the level expected across all types of projects.
That can include full ICAM-style investigations, or simply helping you document incidents properly so you’re not exposed down the track.
Safety Document Review
Most safety documents look fine at a glance — but that doesn’t mean they’re compliant or will hold up under a proper review.
As you start working with subcontractors or managing multiple jobs, you’re expected to review SWMS and safety documents properly — not just accept them. That means checking they’re relevant, complete, and actually reflect the work being done.
As part of our ongoing support, we review documents the same way builders and project teams do — identifying gaps, missing information, and issues before they become a problem.
This is often used as a final check before submission, or to make sure everything is right before work starts.
